Apparently in Arizona they close all the bars on election day. Sharon and I were travelling through the Phoenix airport (ie, LEAVING the state and we were just visitors) on some day in May years ago and turned out it was a primary election day, so no drinks at the bar in the airport. Very odd.
It's been a while since this was posted, so I wanted to comment and get it back on the radar. I will be there on Friday. Hope to see everyone else!
Have to be in DC interviewing law students for the fellowship hosted by my organization. I'll be thinking of you during by 12 hours of interviewing on Friday. Follow me on Twitter @MayorMarkK or on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/groups/91222152476?ap=1 or http://www.facebook.com/mark.kleinschmidt
Hope to see you then. Will have at least one son with me, promissed Damon that he will leave his sword in the car.
Those of us participating in VOE will have a filing deadline just a half an hour before the Happy Hour. Some of us may need a drink at that point.Let me also shamelessly plug that anyone considering donating to my campaign would make my Friday much more enjoyable if they contributed by Thursday.
The last happy hour was a great event and with this one in Chapel Hill I'm sure it'll be even better!
Really glad I got to the last happy hour in July. Am committed to be somewhere else that evening so can't make this one. Ed Harrison
I'll see you all at the Wine Bar and thanks to OP for organizing.
I will try! I haven't been to an OP event since... a long time, but hopefully can swing by this one. Might be tough with the parents in town though. Thanks to everyone who organized.
We have a Facebook event page now too, if you are so inclined. RSVP-ing there is a great way to let your friends know about the event.http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=262391073806031
Sugarland is offering a cupcake for "I voted" sticker. Are your treats better than that? :)

...vote first, then drink! We will have free OP stickers and possibly some other treats for people who wear their "I voted" sticker.
