DianeWhat an amazing job you all have done to bring this celebration to the community! I have been on the emails and an awed by the concern and commitment to make this happen. It shows the heart and spirit that has been rekindled by the recent election and I believe the desire to carry that forward in our community-locally and nationally. You all rock!

The "official" Carrboro celebration takes place on Inauguration Night:InaugurOation starts at 8:00 at 204 West Main Street (Tim Peck's building next to AutoLogic) with free live music and some free beverages, although BYO is encouraged.  Taco truck parked outside (not free)!  Tuesday January 2 at 8:00 / 204 West Main Street / Carrboro / Admission Free / 967-3795

Does anyone know of a public gathering to watch the swearing ?
