Assuming the lack of potable water from OWASA doesn't cause any cancelation I hope folks will go to Extraordinary Ventures 5PM for the next public hearing on Orange Durham Light Rail project. (And don't forget to vote tomorrow Nov.6)

postponed
Due to the OWASA situation, the meeting scheduled for tonight in Chapel Hill regarding updates to the Durham and Orange light-rail project has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for two weeks from today — November 19, from 5-7 pm, also at Extraordinary Ventures.
Nov. 19 it was held
The next few months will be the final hearings. This one covered relatively minor changes at several stations. The project is looking better. First year to ride the light rail will be 2028. (I'm still waiting for the bike path from southern Chapel Hill to Chapel Hill High School which was first proposed in the 1980s.)
