Carrboro vacancy bill advances
A substitute bill was adopted in Senate Committee today as requested by Senator Kinnaird. The substitute also tweaks some of the election provisions in the 2007 bill if the town board chooses to have an optional special eleftion in the future http://ncleg.net/Applications/BillLookUp/LoadBillDocument.aspx?SessionCode=2013&DocNum=1339&SeqNum=0 the bill should be voted on in the Senate Wednesday 3/13
