There are eight candidate running for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education including two incumbants, Annetta Streater and David Saussy, and six challengers, Rani Dasi, Gregg Gerdau, Joal Hall Broun, Pat Heinrichs, Margaret Samuels, and Theresa Watson.

The moderator will be UNC Law School Professor Barbara Fedders.
